This visa is designed for professionals who aim to gain international experience for their career and those who hope to have the option of settling in the UK in the long term. This visa is based on a points assessment matrix including age, education, income and work experience in the UK. If you are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, you automatically qualify for the English language component. Applicants must prove evidence of savings equivalent to £2800GBP over a 3 month period. This visa is initially granted for 3 years, and is then extendable for a further 2 years. At the end of this extension period – you will be able to apply for long term or permanent stay in the UK.
